It was Alex Timpson's idea to buy The White Eagle and she has kept a careful eye on the detail while husband John has been writing regular issues of The White Eagle News

"It is amazing to see the transformation that has been made since May 2005... a new wine list, guest beers, fantastic food and meticulous housekeeping. All these changes have been made possible by a group of people who together, have created a really "buzzy" place with a warm and friendly welcome.
We would like to thank the team who have built our reputation for good food and good service. Over the last few months we have received lots of letters and personal comments praising the transformation of the White Eagle. The comments haven’t just come from Rhoscolyn either... customers have come up to us in London, Uppingham, Delamere and even during a wedding in Italy.
It’s the people that make a pub and we would like to praise everyone who has played a part."

| Since early 2009, the White Eagle has been managed by Tracy Muir and her husband Steve. Tracy was appointed Manager of the White Eagle after previously working for the Timpson's as Branch Manager of their Boar Lane shop in Leeds. She joined Timpson in 2006 and her successes as Branch Manager led her all the way here, to sunny Anglesey. The pair also manage the Maelog Lake, another successful Timpson owned restaurant just across the bay in Rhosneigr. |
